In Loving Memory of Maya McPhee

I, Chelsy, am writing on behalf of my sister Debbie and brother-in-law Mark who tragically lost their youngest daughter Maya on October 16th, 2024.
Our family is devastated to share the sudden and tragic loss of our 3 year old Maya.
Maya came into this world as a beautiful surprise on April 3rd of 2021, and since that day touched the lives and hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a gorgeous, vibrant, loving, special little angel who loved to spend time with her mum Debbie, her dad Mark, big sisters Toni, Skye, and Macy, and her big brother Kade.
Maya’s captivating eyes, contagious smile, and vibrant presence lit up every room and person in it. She was full of adventure, love, spunk, and passion; and although her life was tragically short, she lived each day only knowing the absolute abundance of unconditional love from her family and friends, and left a forever lasting impact that will live on in every heart she touched. She will forever be her mummy and daddy’s “princesa Maya”, “wee lady pops”, and “gorgeous little precious Angel”.
On the day of Maya’s passing, her mum Debbie saw a rainbow. A vibrant, colourful, rainbow appeared suddenly in the grey skies. Maya was just that; a vibrant and beautiful person and soul, much like a rainbow, that added all of the colour to our grey skies.
Maya is painfully and sorely missed, no parent should ever have to endure the loss of their child. During this time of unimaginable grief, we are asking that everyone come together to support Maya’s family.
If you are able to; we ask that you please donate to support Maya’s family in being able to provide Maya with a beautiful farewell.
All of the funds raised through GoFundMe will be used to cover the costs of a funeral and memorial service for sweet Maya.
Additionally any remaining funds will go directly to Maya’s parents and her 4 siblings, to support and attempt to alleviate any financial burdens they will acquire during this life-altering time.
