In Loving Memory of Melissa Boyd Gazzard

On June 13th 2020, Melissa Gazzard passed away suddenly in her home, leaving so many people broken hearted and shocked by the news of her sudden passing.

Melissa was a kind, caring soul who had a shoulder for all.  She had been a pharmacy tech with Lawton’s in Antigonish and in Calgary, but in recent years it was Quentin and their boys that were her life, and she was a great hockey mom. Melissa loved reading, yard sales, going to bingo with her mom and the ocean, and enjoyed taking her kids to the beach.

Today, I have decided to create a GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to make a donation in helping support her husband Quentin and their 3 boys. 

Anyone who knows Quentin and Melissa know how passionate they were about making sure their 3 boys had wonderful lives.  To make this happen, they decided together to make the sacrifice of having Quentin work in Alberta to support his beautiful family.  Quentin loved his wife and loves his boys so dearly that he did what any great husband, father, provider would do and supported his family.  He was home when she passed suddenly and of course will not be going back to work to continue to support his family.  In doing everything HE can for his boys during this unheard of time, I am asking that together as their friends, their family their community, to do what WE can to try and help make this situation a little easier on their family. 

This is a really difficult time for Quentin and the boys, every little bit can help!  And the security in knowing he can focus on the boys and his wellbeing without the added stress is priceless.
