In loving memory of Mia Le’Ann

Donation protected

On September 1st, 2020 Mia’s life was tragically ended due to Gun Violence. At the age of only 24, she leaves behind a 3 year old son Prynce and a family terribly heartbroken. Sadly, for a long time her son will not be able to understand that his Mommy gained her wings well before her time! He is left with memories, stories and pictures.  Prynce will no longer be able to physically hold, hug or kiss his Mommy....

Mia was loved by everyone she met. She had a spirit about her that brought positivity and happiness to all that had the chance to know her. Mia was uplifting, encouraging and empowering. If she was your friend, you had a friend for life because she was loyal. She had a laugh that was contagious and a smile that would warm your heart. A beautiful, loving, devoted mother who believed if there wasn’t a way she’d make one; and truly did that. For Prynce there wasn’t a thing she wouldn’t do to make sure he was happy. No matter what struggles she faced as a young mother in life, love or just finding her way, her son always came first. Mia had goals and dreams that she had every right to achieve but that was taken away from her.

In Columbus this year we have witnessed too many lives lost too soon due to Gun Violence. As we mourn the loss of such a beautiful, young, promising life we ask that you pray for the strength of our family. We ask that you stand with us against Gun Violence as we all struggle to keep our youth alive long enough to become your future Doctors, Nurses, Politicians and Community Leaders. We also ask that you help us relieve some of the financial burden that is left when a loved one’s life is ended so unexpectedly. Any and all donations will go directly to Mia’s mother Norma Gonzalez to help pay for end of life expenses, future expenses and a college fund for her son. Since birth it seems he’s had a basketball in his hands, I know my sister Mia would love nothing more than to watch over him as he goes off to college and with Gods help, become a professional basketball player! Anything that you can donate is deeply appreciated and we thank you for your support.

We love you Mia Le’Ann, although you are gone you must certainly will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, watch over us and guide us.
