In loving memory of Michael James Greco

On Sunday, July 2, my father Michael James Greco peacefully passed in the arms of his bride, Deborah, and son, Devin. Heaven received a champion but we lost one of the kindest, most generous men in this world. He was a great husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend. His laughter was contagious and his joy was infectious.

In the light of his passing my #1 job is to support my mother. She is the strongest, most selfless person in the world. Over her life she has put everyone above herself.. even at her detriment. I am writing this to ask for help in supporting her through this season as my dad tried to get them back on solid ground financially for the last several years but was met with unforeseen surprised setbacks time and time again.. that dealt a dose of heartbreak and devastation while his health began to be impacted.

Words could never accurately convey the magnitude of moments my parents have endured over the years together, 43 years to be exact. There have been high highs and very low lows but in every season their love has remained strong to the end.

What's next? My mom is currently about 5 hours away caring for her mom at a local nursing home. The same one my dad was at prior to him passing. I long to get her closer to me, her daughter in love, Becca, and her first grandbaby, Bramley, in Austin, TX. In order to do so we need a miracle to financially navigate all that’s ahead.

I feel like in order to honor my Dad and do my best to support my Mom in the best way I know how I created this Memorial Fund. If it is in your heart to give in any way I wanted to offer the opportunity to celebrate my Dad and help my Mom navigate this season alone for the first time in her life.

I hope this is received well from the heart of an only son who has watched his Mom work harder than anyone I know for so long without much to show for it financially. Thank you for your continued prayers and support in this season and always!

I know my Dad is smiling down, pain free, laughing with family and looking after us always.. that I can rest assured and smile about!
