It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Michael Lopez, a loving husband, devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cherished friend, and neighbor. He leaves behind his beautiful family that he adored, his wife Nicole, and their three young children, Elyse (18), Aubrey, (5), and Mikey (3). Mike was the kind of person who brought light and laughter into every room he entered, whose warmth, kindness, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Countless people have said that he was the kind of man that would literally take the shirt off of his own back to help another and he really was. He was such a good soul who loved helping others in their time of need whether it was a friend, family, coworker, or stranger that he just met. Everyone who knew him loved him.

As a husband, he was Nicole’s rock and soulmate. They were together for sixteen amazing years. He was always there for her with a comforting word, a helping hand, and an unwavering love that was evident in every glance they shared. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them. As a Father, Mike was everything a dad should be, dedicated, supportive, and endlessly proud of his children. He was their biggest cheerleader, their teacher, and their hero. His love for his children knew no bounds, and his presence in their lives was a constant source of strength and joy. To his family and friends, Mike was loyal, always ready to listen, offer advice, or share a laugh. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and his friendship was a gift that we will all treasure forever.

Mike’s sudden passing has left a void that can never be filled, and we are all struggling to come to terms with the loss of such an incredible man. We know that nothing can ever replace him, but we are reaching to our community for support in helping Nicole and her children navigate this unimaginable time.
