In Loving Memory of Miguel Angel Diaz: Aid for His Family

Miguel - first and foremost, no words can describe this unexplainable feeling that our families are feeling. You were funny, kind, shy, serious yet sweet, and most of all so caring of your family. We all will remember how much of a beautiful lively soul you are. We love you so much Miguel.

Friends, family, kind and thoughtful strangers, we are raising funds on behalf of my aunt and uncle who tragically lost their oldest son, Miguel Angel Diaz. He was 21-year-old who went missing on November 26. Hearing the devastating news, we hoped and prayed that we could hear something as soon as possible. Anything really, to just know how he was, what he was doing, just any type of indicator. It has now been over a month and a half and received news that no one should ever go through.

On Friday, January 10th at 1:00 PM, his body was discovered in the Snake River near Gamble Island. This was a heartbreaking end to the long and continuous search for my cousin. Miguel’s truck was found shortly after his disappearance, but no signs of foul play were initially identified. My aunt and uncle now await the autopsy results to provide clarity on his passing. We have yet to receive more information at the time.

Miguel lived with his parents, who are devastated by this loss. He leaves behind his 5 brothers and only sister. The funds will go directly to them to help cover funeral expenses and provide much-needed support to his grieving family during this difficult time. Any contribution is deeply and truly appreciated.

Amigos, familiares y personas amables y solidarias: estamos recaudando fondos en nombre de mis tíos, quienes trágicamente perdieron a su hijo mayor, Miguel Ángel Díaz. Tenía 21 años y desapareció el 26 de noviembre. Al escuchar la devastadora noticia, esperábamos y orábamos por saber algo lo antes posible. Cualquier cosa, simplemente para saber cómo estaba, qué estaba haciendo, cualquier tipo de señal. Han pasado más de un mes y medio, y recibimos una noticia que nadie debería atravesar.

El viernes 10 de enero, a la 1:00 PM, su cuerpo fue encontrado en el río Snake, cerca de Gamble Island. Fue un final desgarrador para la larga y continua búsqueda de mi primo. La camioneta de Miguel fue encontrada poco después de su desaparición, pero inicialmente no se identificaron signos de juego sucio. Mis tíos ahora esperan los resultados de la autopsia para obtener claridad sobre su fallecimiento. Hasta este momento, no hemos recibido más información.

Miguel vivía con sus padres, quienes están devastados por esta pérdida. Deja atrás a sus 5 hermanos y su única hermana. Los fondos se destinarán directamente a ellos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral y brindar el apoyo necesario a su familia en duelo durante este momento tan difícil.
