In Loving Memory of Mike Hazelwood

Mike was a larger than life teacher, father, husband, and friend. Somehow, he could turn any bad day into a beautiful one. If you were in a bad mood, it was impossible to stay there if you encountered Hazelwood in the hallway or break room. His positive outlook on everything was contagious. Even when you tried to give him a compliment, he made you feel YOU were the one worthy of the praise. To many of us, he was the heart and soul of the pride and culture of Mission Oak High School. He is the perfect example of what it means to be a Hawk...to be a good person. More than anything else, he was a dedicated father to his young daughter Molly. Talking about his daughter always brought an even bigger smile to his face.

Everyone at Mission Oak High School is mourning, but we can't imagine the pain that Molly and Mari are feeling. Please donate whatever you can to help pay for funeral expenses and anything else his family may need in these difficult times.
