In Loving Memory of Mirek Mroczkowski -Ski

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the unexpected loss of Mirek Mroczkowski (for some Myrek or Ski). Mirek passed away on his wife Marta's birthday July 15, 2020 after a month -long battle with COVID-19 in the ICU at Del E. Webb Hospital. He was only 46 years old. He left behind his incredibly loving wife Marta and their three sons Lucas (16), Kevin (23), Erik (26) with his wife Stephanie and his mother Grazyna. 
Mirek was a dear friend of Ours and colleague for many of Us as Detention Officer at MCSO serving for 13- year.
He was loyal son, devoted father and beloved husband and always great friend that you can count on. 
Mirek was loved by everyone who knew him and will be terribly missed.

While many of Us have our own Mirek (Ski) story, mine began over 19 years ago when I started working with his wife Marta and letter when all of Us decided on moving to Arizona.
We have been extremely close friends since. Whether you knew Mirek or not, he had so many passions and dedication for many things in life:
- his craft from woods, painting logos as a child,  heavy metal music as well disco polo that he wouldn't miss for his boat, boating,  having great time with friends, adventures to see and explore nature with his boys teaching them life. Not to forget he was a great cook as well. 
He welcomed everyone with his open arms and ALWAYS with a Big  SMILE!

At this time, we would like to support  Marta, Lucas, Kevin, and  Eric in the most fitting manner possible as we continue as community to power through this devastating pandemic.
