In loving memory of Monita (Moni) Tillak Perez

Hello. My name is Sasha Ruiz and I’m sad to announce the passing of my beloved mother, Monita (Moni) Tillak Perez. She is survived by her beloved husband Joey Perez, parents, Gyan and Maya Tillak, sister Soni Tillak, brother, Barney Tillak, daughters Misty and Son-in-law Randy, Sasha and Son-in-law Carlos, Alicia, Misha and her loving grandchildren and countless cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. While she is out of pain due to medical illnesses that plagued her for the last several years her family is devastated and heartbroken by her loss. Moni was a kind, generous, and loving person. She was born in the Fiji Islands and lived in Modesto for most of her life after her family immigrated to America. While she had lived in Tacoma towards the end of her life her family would like to return her home to Modesto for her final resting place. In lieu of flowers, the family would sincerely appreciate any donations in her memory be made to help her family cover the costs for her memorial and funeral as well as help with costs of transport to Modesto. We appreciate the support we have already received from some many friends and family. We cannot thank you enough. Moni will live on in our memories and we know she is smiling down on us in gratitude and love. The funeral and memorial service dates are still
