In loving memory of Mr BOBBRIES OLABANJI

Hi my name is Evelyn, and I’m fundraising for my late dad. My daddy left his home country Nigeria in 2012 for a greener pasture and for a better life for himself and family. After spending few months in the Uk, his visa expired and since then he has been living from hand to mouth, trying to avoid the police and immigration authorities. He couldn’t leave the country because he has a family to fend for back home.

After living in the Uk for 11 years, the immigration authorities eventually got him and he got thrown into prison and served for a year and few months. When he got out, he was homeless and his living condition worsened. It was hard to eat and pay bills. He had to do hard and menial jobs to feed and pay bills. During this time, he has had an underlying illness but he was managing as well as he could but he was getting enough treatment.

On the 4th of September 2024, he tried to go to the toilet to pee but he couldn’t but he forced himself but he urinated blood instead of pee. He went to the hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost by 4:21. His cause of death is still unknown.
