Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted community members,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mushen Jabbour. Mushen “Mason” Jabbour, 72, of New Windsor, NY has passed away at home on November 4, 2024. Born in Ermamin, Jordan on January 17, 1952, to Nada Jameal Rabadi and Ibrahim Nemeh Jabbour, Mason was a proud American who immigrated to the United States at the age of 13.

Mason was a skilled butcher who owned his own businesses in Beacon, NY, Elmsford, NY, and Cherry Hill, NJ, before becoming a beloved employee of Shoprite for nearly 25 years. He was a loving husband to his wife Karen, whose cooking he loved. He was a father, a proud grandfather and great grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. He looked forward to apple picking every year, loving to help the little ones pick the highest apple. He was famous for cooking up the biggest and best breakfast, better than any restaurant. He also found pleasure in playing poker, tending to his garden, and meticulously maintaining his home and pool. He looked forward to the holidays and summer barbeques surrounded by family and the best foods. He was strong and generous.
Mason's unwavering love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. Despite enduring countless health challenges, he remained resilient, always finding strength in their bond. His practical skills were legendary, and he could fix anything. With a quick wit and a sharp sense of humor, Mason could always make you laugh, even on the toughest of days. He was the heart of the family and a friend to all who knew him.

Mason is survived by his loving wife, Karen; his children, Omar and Lisa; his step-son, Michael; his son-in-law, Kevin; his 10 grandchildren: Alexis, Morgan, Lindsay, Isabella, Jacob, Calvin, Julia, Carly Mae, Oona, and Mia; and his 2 great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Asahd. Mason also leaves behind a large extended family of siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be missed more than words could ever express.

As we come to terms with Mushen's passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We are reaching out to the community for support in honoring Mushen "Mason's" memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering him fondly.

Funds raised will go towards funeral and burial expenses. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Mushen is laid to rest with dignity and respect that he deserves, while alleviating some burden from the family.

We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us as we navigate through our grief.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity!
With heartfelt gratitude,

The Jabbour Family
