In loving memory of my brother, Nicholas Franzen

Never in my life, did I imagine having to write such a thing, as I am about to. And I pray that whomever is reading this, has the strength of God and family within them, to finish reading.

My little brother, Nicholas Edward Franzen, has very regretfully passed on to the next life. It was unexpected, as any death is, but for this one ... Our hearts are in immense pain & shattered. My family and I have had such pain in our lives recently, so much sadness, so much death. We are all eachother have ever had. And my baby brother has always been every bit apart of all we have had. Nicholas was a good man. An incredible father. Kind, caring, hilarious, always took care of his family, made sure everyone was okay, gave his last, an amazing friend, an even better brother, and a son, any mother and father could have wished for. His love for Callie, the mother of his children, has always been immense, up until his final days, we always knew where his heart landed. And now, we are left with the wreckage of a deep sadness none of us ever wanted for ourselves, let alone his children, Scarlett & Everly.

Unfortunately, I am having to do this again, with the help of friends and family, as my parents are unable to get the words out, and I, as the eldest of 7, am the one to puff up my chest and take care of my little brothers final resting plans. It is why he leaned on me, its why they all do. It is with a deep sadness and desperation, I am having to ask for your help. My family and friends included, and I are doing our very best to pick up the emotional pieces together, however, the financial aspect of things are our biggest obstacles. I hate to be the one to ask for help in such a terrible time already, the world in madness, confusion and desperation. We are only asking for what you CAN donate, even if that is only a prayer for my mother and father, his children, thoughts of kindness or a few dollars. I promise, it is all accepted and appreciated greatly. We know these are rough times, we know that you may or may not be struggling emotionally or financially, especially with this news, and we know that a prayer and a thought is sometimes all of us have to give. So, from the bottom of the purest parts of my soul, I am asking if you can, please, help my mother, my father, lay their baby boy, to rest.

Thank you, if you've read this far. Thank you for reading at all. One's sadness is not one wants to hear or read about, and I'm eternally grateful for listening about my little brother, a piece of my heart, being and soul. We love you, Nicholas. Your children will never have to wonder how much you love them, Callie will never be alone, mama & dad will never be left alone, your siblings and friends will never be left alone ... We have 2 pieces of you, and I thank God for that. Ill be missing you for forever. Rest peacefully, my brother. -Thank you.
