In Loving Memory of My Dad, Charles Snr. Nwakoby

"Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad." Chukwuma, Charles Nwakoby, was a person I am still proud to call dad after his passing away on March 3rd, 2023. The word "special" does not fully justify my dad's love, sacrifice, and trust for my mum, siblings, and myself.

My favorite piece of advice my dad gave me before traveling to college in the U.S.A is, "Nonso, the moment you get on the plane, you are in a different world. When anyone talks to you, especially when you get to America, always smile and say thank you, even when you feel distressed."

I am raising these funds for Chika Nwakoby, my mum. Your support in making this fundraiser would ensure my dad gets an honorable burial and alleviate my mum's financial hardships alone with my younger sister in Nigeria.

May God bless, strengthen, and be gracious to you as you share in our family's burden.
