In loving memory of my father, Ignacio Acevedo

Hello everyone. My name is Roberto Acevedo. I come to you for support during this unfortunate circumstance of the passing of my father, Ignacio Acevedo.
My father who besides his love for soccer and his mariachi vocals, who a lot would agree were spot on to his favorite artist, El Rey, Vicente Fernandez, was a hardworking man who came to US at a young adult age with a mindset of a better life.
He made sure to accomplish a degree in engineering all the while my mother was going through a heart condition that no longer allowed for her to work as she would be in and out of doctor appointments and hospital visits for the remainder of her life. My father became the head of household and took that responsibility with a lot of care. My sisters and I never had to worry about much as we always had a roof over our heads and food in the fridge. With all this on his shoulders, he did not allow himself to break, even til the end. Earlier this year, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer that metastasized very quickly and led to his demise on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. He was a fighter until the very end. I did not expect it to be so sudden; nobody did. We had so much hope and were very much on board with all the recommendations given by his doctor. I strongly feel he was failed by the medical health industry in many ways. All in all, I am thankful that he is free of the pain and with God now.
With this all being said, I come to you all with my heart in my hands, asking for your help in providing my dad with an honorable service. Anything you can help with will certainly be appreciated more than I can even express. Thank you, and may God bless you all.
