In Loving Memory of Norberto Arturo Verges Jr
Donation protected
Most Called him Bert, but his name is Norberto. I’m his little sister nori. He was 24 when he decided to end his own life on January 31st at 12:05 midnight on his back porch. Despite the tragedy, Bert was a loving soul, the life of the party, a successful young entrepreneur. He owned his own house by the age of 23. He is my loving older brother, my other half, the god father to my 4th month old baby boy viewed in the picture. Our entire family and all of our friends now have a whole in our hearts, trying to find the solution to something that is unexplainable unless you’re going through it. Depression is a real life battle that no one ever speaks of. We wish he would have said something to prevent this tragedy but what can we do now.. Our brother is gone. His last words were “what’s a mistake without the lesson” “I love you all I’m sorry brother man” that he left written on a white board in his room underneath his 2022 goals. If there is one thing Bert wanted it was for the people he loved to be happy. Every room Norberto entered would light up by his smile and energy. He cared for others so deeply and always put people before himself. He was the person who was there for me and many others even if he couldn’t be there for himself. My family and I will spend the rest of our lives missing my brother. In this deeply tragic time we ask that you keep our family and friends closest to Bert in your thoughts and prayers. Bert was loved by all and will be in all of our hearts until we meet again. We hope to be putting him to rest peacefully on Monday at 2. Thank you all for your kind words, we greatly appreciate it. Any donations will go towards raising suicide awareness and his funeral. Anything will help and be kindly appreciated. Thank you for being a part of my big brothers life.
