In Loving Memory of our Late Father

Dear Friends and Community,

With heavy hearts and tearful eyes, we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved father, Mr. Anthony Anumudu. A man of quiet strength and boundless generosity, Dad touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and kind heart. As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we are reaching out for support to give him the memorial and funeral service he truly deserves.

On the 27th of July 2024, our world was shattered when Dad succumbed to his battle with prostate enlargement, chronic ulcer, and abdominal obstruction. His agony was marked with silent fortitude and unwavering faith. Despite the pain and suffering he endured, he remained a pillar of strength for us all. Recalling his words of hope and comfort from his sickbed, assuring us that he would overcome this battle, it is profoundly painful and shocking to face his loss, as he was determined to spend as much time possible with his family.

We have established this GoFundMe campaign to seek your assistance in alleviating the financial burdens on our family and in honouring our late father's memory. Your contributions will be directly allocated towards settling outstanding hospital bills, covering memorial service/ funeral expenses and supporting our family as we navigate through this period of grief especially our mum.

Primarily, the goal is to honour our Late Father’s memory in a way that reflects the love and respect he earned throughout his life. Every contribution, no matter how small, will be invaluable to our family.

A service of songs in memory of our late father will be held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria on the 10th of September, 2024. The funeral service will subsequently take place in his hometown Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, on the 14th of September, 2024..
