In Loving Memory of Parker John Pearce
Donation protected
It is with unspeakable grief that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our treasured Parker John Pearce, the brightest light and most loving soul.
Those who knew and loved Parker are invited to support the Pearce family as they navigate this heartbreaking time. Any contributions will help ease their financial burden, seek ongoing support, and allow them to step away from their work to focus on grieving their wonderful son and being together with their beautiful daughters.

In a tragic and unforeseeable choking accident, Parker was taken from us far too soon at the young age of 9. His father, John, showed immediate action, boundless love, and heroic bravery in his efforts to save him.
Parker’s family stayed by his side throughout his hospitalization, cherishing every moment with him. We are only just beginning to process the enormity of this loss and heartbreak.
The care teams at Sutter Pediatric ICU in Sacramento were incredible, offering exceptional support and compassion to both Parker and to our family. Thank you especially to Dr. Daniel Falco, M.D. for his care, humanity, guidance, and support.
To everyone who has sent messages, calls, prayers, and love, we have felt your support deeply and we are so grateful.

Parker is the deeply cherished son of Andrea and John Pearce, and the admired, loving older brother of Amelia and Penelope Pearce.
He is the beloved grandson of Lisa and Greg Barker, Charlie Mason and Beryl Cooper, Mark Carlin, John Pearce II, and Kathy and Terry Dickinson and great-grandson of Kay Ghilarducci.
He is the adored nephew of Jessica Mason, Alex and Lauren Mason, Leila Carlin, Allison and Garrett Lent, Kristen and Josh Garcia, Kathryn and Michael Cifelli, Kayla and Bryan Strickland, and Jacob and Samantha Dickinson.
He is the precious and playful cousin of Gracelyn, Austin, Alina, Cole, and baby Lent.
He is loved endlessly by countless family members, loving friends, and of course, his sweet cat, Posie.

As anyone who knew Parker can attest, he cannot be captured in words, but we can certainly try.
Parker was dangerously smart, funny, silly, mischievous, playful, curious, and most of all, loving. He had the sweetest heart.
He loved reading, playing pranks, video games, and cooking. He loved Minecraft, Pokémon, Harry Potter, and the Sacramento Kings. He hoped to be a pilot someday.
He adored his sisters and was meant to be a big brother.
He was soon to start 4th grade at H. Clarke Powers Elementary School in Loomis, Ca. We know his friends, classmates, and teachers will miss him dearly.
Parker’s infectious laughter, boundless energy, and unending curiosity were a source of light to everyone lucky enough to know him.

Although our precious boy is no longer with us, it gives us great comfort to know others may be saved through his priceless gift of life. As an organ donor, his legacy is one of a true hero, just like his father whose rescue attempts made his organ donation possible. Parker will live on forever.
Your kindness, prayers, and support sincerely mean the world to our family during this time.
