In loving memory of Patrick Kennedy

My beautiful people,

I am fundraising for Kaia Kennedy and the Kennedy Cat Hostel. Any funds raised here will be for Kaia to use for Patrick’s final expenses & to help continue Kaia and Patrick’s mission of saving kittens and cats, to provide them with medical, round the clock care, etc.

Patrick took his life this past weekend. None of us ever truly know the demons that exist in another person, but we know that we all have our demons.

It’s nearly impossible to find any resemblance of a silver lining after this horrible tragedy. But I know that Patrick and Kaia spent their lives in the pursuit of making this a better world, a kinder world, a selfless world. I hope that if nothing else, people out there will see that since this impossible thing happened to Patrick, that it could happen to someone else, and there is a good chance that there is someone else you know out there suffering in silence right now. Ask your loved ones if they are okay. Remind your loved ones that there are cherished. Tell your loved ones that you are there for them.

I can’t figure a better way to honor Patrick than to donate to Kaia to continue their mission of rescuing animals. Not long before Patrick took his life, he made one final rescue, bringing home 2 tiny, sickly, hungry baby kittens. Please donate to help them and so many more, have the life they deserve, the life that the Kennedy Cat Hostel has given to so many.
