In loving memory of Paul Bagshaw

On 29th January after a very brief time in hospital Paul lost his life unexpectedly at the age of 46. The news of his passing has shocked and saddened not just everyone who knew him but most importantly his four children Lauren, Chloe, Owen and Rosie.

We cannot do anything to shrink the pain they are feeling but we would like to be able to help them by raising some funds to help towards their futures. Paul was a proud father and loved his children very much. From their footballing accomplishments to who they are as people it was obvious that they were the most important things in his life. He was taken far too soon and denied the chance to see them live their lives so hopefully knowing how many people care and want to help them can ease his comfort from up above.

As well as being a father, he was a beloved son to Lin and Cliff and little brother to Chris, who are all struggling to come to terms with the sudden and tragic loss.

Paul, or Baggy as he was known to his friends, lived his life in Maidenhead where there aren’t many people who don’t know his name. Everyone who does know it knows what a kind, caring and genuine man he was with only fond memories to be said about him. Some knew him from having laughs in the pub, others remember his days playing for and later on being a proud dad on the sidelines for Holyport FC and his colleagues from work became close friends. No matter how you knew him one thing is for sure, he would help you out if you needed it so please, if you can, return the favour and show his kids that in some small way their dad is still here for them through all the people who loved him.
