In Loving Memory of Peter A. Mendoza

Peter Mendoza was a proud, retired Fire Captain after serving 27 and half years with the Honolulu Fire Department. He leaves behind his wife, 4 daughters, his 7 year old son and his 11 month old grandson.

On October 10th, 2021, we received a call from the ICU that changed our lives forever. We spent the day with Dad, reminding him of how much everyone loved and cared for him. We all prayed as hard as we could for him to recover and come home to us.

It was a month and a half of battling covid, but he’s become too tired from fighting. The ICU team mentioned all the time how strong he was and that he was a true fighter until the very end. The day we lost him is still so fresh in our minds and will forever be the hardest day for us.

We can’t fathom the thought of losing you Dad, but we will always share your legacy and bring your unconditional love with us throughout the rest of our lives. We thank you for giving us such a blessed life full of love and laughter. You were selfless and made sure our needs were taken care of. You mean the world to us and always will! ❤️ we love you Dad!

As we struggle to pick up the pieces of where he left off to preserve and continue everything he worked so hard to build and provide for our family. We ask for a helping hand with all the financial challenges and uncertainties that come with losing a father, a husband and main provider. Anything is greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
