In loving memory of Peter Repovich

On Christmas Eve 2022, in the early hours of the morning, Rileigh and Tiffany Repovich were woken up by a loud knock at the door. They thought it was their father, Peter Repovich, a retired LAPD officer who served 33 years on the force. Since their mother passed away 4 years ago, Peter was all the young girls had. Rileigh rolled out of bed to answer the door, but instead of her father, she saw two police officers on the front steps.

Peter Repovich passed away at 10 PM on December 23rd, due to a heart attack he had while driving home to see his girls for Christmas.

Peter was the President of End of Watch Memorial Wall, Inc and The Eagle & Badge Foundation.

Peter was a special man with a caring heart and infectious smile that lit up a room.

He was funny, outgoing and made friends with everyone he met.

He always went above and beyond to take care of those around him.

He had a great sense of humor, and always made people laugh.

He was a kind spirit, always eager to lend a helping hand even if they didn’t ask for help directly.

He was a builder and completed two houses

He loved consulting and lobbying.

He was a social bug and loved going out to dinners.

He loved paddle boarding and working out.

Peter loved his girls dearly and his dream was to always send his daughters off to college. Just two weeks before they were off to school, he died on his way driving to pick up his daughter. They are traumatized from that night and they will never forget about the day. Now they are both without a father and a mother who died four years ago due to cancer.

Rileigh and Tiffany are now left with picking the pieces up to figure out how they are going to pay for a funeral and college or if they can still afford to still go to college. Peter was not prepared and did not have will or life insurance in place.

Peter will be missed not only by his family, but by everyone whose life he touched.
