In Loving Memory of Petra Medelez

Donation protected
Loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She was the founder of Su Casa ~ Ending Domestic Violence Shelter. Her love and passion of serving her community led her in 1979 to found a safe haven for victims of domestic violence. As a survivor herself, Petra took crisis calls and housed victims and their children of domestic violence out of her own home. Her vision of creating peaceful homes within her community evolved to the success and impact that Su Casa has had in the community and surrounding cities.

With her beautiful soul and positive energy on life, Petra made a tremendous impact on the lives of everyone she came in contact with. With her infectious laugh and beautiful smile, she would light up any room she walked into. With great sadness and peace in our hearts, we feel the void that she has already left in our lives. We welcome all and any forms of donation and support as we prepare to give our mother the celebration of life service she deserves and more.

God Bless
