In loving memory of Phil and Courtney Mooney
Donation protected
Phil “Twigg” and Courtney “Courts” Mooney were involved in a fatal collision when their motorcycle was struck head on by a careless operator of a motor vehicle. Sadly, both Phil and Courtney passed away at the scene. The sudden and unexpected loss of both Phil and Courtney now leaves their two young children, daughter Hanna and Son Ashton with significant and unplanned financial expenses. If you knew Phil and Courtney, you would know how much they touched the lives of everyone around them. Phil was a proud and decorated veteran having served with the Lord Strathconas Horse (Royal Canadians) and had retired due to medical issues he received while serving his country. He became a member of the Nam Knights Motorcycle Club, in order to assist other veterans and law enforcement officers and their families in times of need. Courtney was a champion of the Veteran, working tirelessly with the Royal Canadian Legion to help veterans navigate the Veterans Affairs network and receive their entitlements for service injuries. They were a fantastic couple, who were abruptly taken from us senselessly. The Northern Knights Chapter of the Nam Knights MC have started this page to help raise funds for funeral costs and any needs to help the young children in the near future.
Funds from the Go Fund me campaign will be held in temporary trust by Stephen Moir( President of the Nam Knights Motorcycle Club) while working with the lawyer appointed by the family for Hanna and Ashton. Once this process is complete all donations will be transferred to the trust accounts set up by the lawyer.
