In Loving Memory of Priscilla Ancheta: Our Lola

A funeral Mass will be held at 12:10pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Holy Name Catholic Church [433 Jackson St, Ketchikan, AK 99901]. Immediately following will be a procession to Bayview Cemetery [1121 Stedman St, Ketchikan, Ak 99901] for a graveside service. To honor Lola, Ketchikan's Filipino Community Club has kindly offered to hold a reception at Holy Name Church offering light refreshments at around 2pm. Times and other service information is subject to change. Updates will continue to be added to this site as necessary.

Lola lived for 88 years. Devastating news of her passing away on April 29, 2023, saddened many loved ones around the United States and abroad.

Throughout her life she dedicated herself to her family and her dear friends. She was a devoted wife to Presco T. Ancheta, Sr., for 34 years until he died in 1993. She was an undeniably faithful Catholic and an active member of the Holy Name Catholic Church in Ketchikan, Alaska. She was a longtime member of The Filipino Community Club of Ketchikan, Alaska, since moving to the city with Presco, Sr., in 1959. Lola was a proud mother, a loving grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother.

In lieu of flowers or other memorial gifts, this fundraiser is set up to help Lola's family offset costs incurred due to the casket flight from Anchorage, Alaska, to Ketchikan; services at church and at the cemetery; and the purchase and placement of a headstone.
