In Loving Memory of Randy Vandenberg

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our dear friend Randy. Randy changed the life of everyone he met. Randy was a family man, always placing the needs of his family first. He was married to his best friend Erin and left behind four beautiful children whom he loved dearly.
Randy always considered the“boys” at work to be his second family. Just prior to his death, he held the role of Senior Superintendent of a construction site which employed over 200 people. He earned the highest respect of all the workers, and always led his team with commitment, passion and a great sense of humour. Randy was a tough man who could do the job of 10 men, but what set him apart the most from others was his ability to balance his performance expectations with compassion and care for those he mentored.
Randy's sudden passing has left his wife behind with a deep void in her heart. She has a long journey ahead of her and is now faced with unexpected financial burdens not only in the short term but in the years to come as his young daughter, Sophie looks ahead to a life without her daddy. We have started this page in hopes of raising enough to cover the costs of numerous end-of-life arrangements and other unexpected debts his wife, Erin will face in the very difficult weeks and months ahead. We'd like to support Erin, who has been a dedicated stay-at-home mom and does not have any other source of income.
Please join us in honouring Randy's legacy with any amount of contribution you can afford to support Erin and Sophie on their difficult journey ahead.
