In loving memory of Remedios Villegas Tangalin
Donation protected
My grandmother, Remedios Villegas Tangalin, passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2022, at 3:00 pm and is finally reunited in heaven with her husband and family. She is survived by her children Franklin Tangalin, John Tangalin, and Marissa Tangalin, and her grandchildren, Keanna Tangalin, John Tangalin, Jacob Tangalin, Alyssa O'Daniel, and Melissa O'Daniel.
She was known as a mother, sister, Nana, and Grandma Ma. Many remember her being witty, funny, and incredibly smart. She lived a long and prosperous life where she taught not only her family, but many others, how to be independent and show love through acts of service.
Often on my own father's deployments, she would come and live with us to help my mother take care of my sister and me in some of the most challenging moments, of our childhood. And I will forever be grateful.
She was also an extremely brave woman as she fought a battle against dementia in her last 12-13 years of life. Dementia is a battle for all members involved, those afflicted, and those surrounding. She was loved throughout her fight and was given every opportunity so she could maintain her best quality of life. And to be frank, she was such an amazing fighter, she gave dementia a run for its money.
The Villegas-Tangalin family could use much support right now whether it be as simple as prayers and kind words or as a donation to help with plane tickets and funeral expenses as this is a hard time for all involved.
During her time as a midwife in the Philippines, she brought joy and happiness to many families. So as the circle completes itself, please share happiness and joy in memory of her to her family.
Thank you for all of your support.
And this is the promise which he himself made to us: Eternal Life. - 1 John 2:25
