In Loving Memory of Richard Wiltermood
Donation protected
Richard Wiltermood passed away at 11:42am on Wednesday, August 7th at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada surrounded by his family. Unexpectedly, on July 31st, Richard was admitted to the hospital with signs that he had suffered from a stroke. He had brain surgery that same day but due to complications, he was unable to recover. His family was by his side for 8 days until he took his last peaceful breaths.
Our beloved dad devoted his life to living for the sake of others. He was always eager and willing to help anyone, usually by fixing or building something, without asking for anything in return. Wherever he went, whatever he was doing, he touched the lives of many. His unwavering faith, deep love for God, and devotion to his family and friends were the guiding forces throughout his life.
We are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time. We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. Your kindness will help us navigate this challenging time and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable person. All donations will go towards helping our mom cover costs of medical bills as well as for his service and burial.
Thank you for your compassion, love, and support.
We will have a Seonghwa ceremony (funeral) for him at the Bay Area Family Church in San Leandro, California (2305 Washington Ave. San Leandro, CA 94577) on Friday, August 16th at 9:30am followed by a burial service at Lone Tree Cemetery at 12:30pm. Please come and help us celebrate the incredible life of our dad, Richard Wiltermood.
