- Robby was my best friend for more than 40 years & Its with heavy hearts his sister Lisa & I announce the passing of Robert Neil Shuler (Robby). Robbys cancer diagnosis was very unexpected but he didn't let it get him down. He had faith in God & the mind set that he would beat it. He took the radiation & chemo like a warrior & I was so proud of his optimistic outlook. He was so brave & strong through it all but on April 24 he lost his fight. He brought alot of love & light into our lives. His smile & laugh were contagious & he will be deeply missed by many. As we grieve & try to come to terms with this we are faced with the seemingly impossible financial task of arranging Robbys final goodbye. He deserves a dignified send off but unfortunately his sister Lisa & last remaining relative, was left to handle all of the financial expenses. Lisa is a devoted mother, school teacher, widowed wife & last but not least a overwhelmed grieving sister. As you can imagine this is a challenging & emotional time. We are reaching out to our community, family, friends & kind strangers for support in honoring Robbys memory. Any contribution, no matter how small will help ensure he is properly laid to rest. Funds raised will go directly towards cremation costs, transportation of his body and memorial arrangements. Thanks a million yall.
