On May 22, 2022, Rogelio peacefully visited his brother Eduardo Gonzalez's gravesite at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery. He was visiting the site on this day because it was the anniversary of the day of his brother's death. He was shot and killed at his brother's gravesite on the same calendar date as his brother Eduardo. He was looking forward to a brighter future now that he was given time served by the state of California. He was in much better spirits as of late. His family was so happy for him that he would start fresh. Unfortunately, all of this was cut short when he was taken from this earth on May 22, 2022. Rogelio was a loving father to 3 beautiful girls Arianna, Gianna, and Mia. Rogelio spent the last years of his life repairing and selling motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. He was a good man who was finally calm and down to earth. He didn't cause trouble with anyone; he was a homebody.

 

It has been a tragic event in the Gonzalez Family's lives, already having lost Eduardo Gonzalez 13 years ago and now his brother Rogelio.
