In loving memory of Rosy Montalvan
Donation protected
There are not enough words to express our grief at the passing of our precious mother, Rosy. A one of a kind woman we were so blessed to have known. Our mother had an unshakeable faith and incredible strength; she battled metastatic cancer for over two years and treated it like a stomach ache. She will forever live in our hearts. We appreciate your kindness during this difficult time.
Rosa Maria Montalvan, who loved to be called Rosy, departed her loving family on October 5, 2022. Rosy was born in Monterrey, Mexico on March 30, 1965, to Bertha and Gilberto Martinez. She is the third of five children and spent her childhood enjoying life alongside her sisters Silvia and Hilda, her brothers Oscar and Carlos, and her many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Rosy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paco; her three daughters, who she loved more than anything: Stephanie, Jessica and Jennifer; and fur baby Charlie. Rosy's life was her family, and her family was her life. Her love, laughter and generosity will be dearly missed. For all of you that loved her, thank you so much for being a part of her life.
A Poem to Our Mother
An angel lived among us,
A gift from God above.
She showered us with kindness
And shared with us her love.
She cherished every moment
With her family who were her life;
She loved her girls dearly.
Though, now, she's far away.
She's gone to live with Jesus.
But, she's here with us, today,
Smiling down on every one of us.
Forever in our hearts you'll stay, loved and missed every day.
Please join us on Friday, October 14, at 1pm to honor her life and memory. Please wear your most dapper all black attire.
