In Loving Memory of Ruben Rosas

On December 4th, 2022 our dad Ruben was on his way to his favorite event of the year “Toys For Tots”. He was driving his motorcycle and he tried to avoid a pothole in the city of Chicago and he lost control of his motorcycle. He sustained life threatening injuries which landed him in the ICU. He was 19 days in ICU. Everyday that passed, by he fought like a warrior. On December 23, 2022 God had better plans for him; he won his last battle and was granted the golden key to the door of heaven.

Our dad was a man of faith and everyone who had the chance to meet him, know him, and spend time with him knew how caring, loving, and funny he was. He touched many lives, hearts, spirits, and everyone he met in a very special way without a doubt.

Today we set this fundraiser to help mom with future expenses, including his ICU bill and funeral expenses. Our dad was the sole provider for her and my grandma. He leaves behind his wife, 2 daughters, 1 son, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild he didn’t have the chance to meet, 3 brothers and his only sister who live in Mexico, and his forever friend Whiskey his German shepherd.

To his many friends and followers we are grateful for all the prayers, love and support we have received.

El 4 de Diciembre del 2022 nuestro padre Ruben iba en camino a su evento favorito del año "Toys for Tots" en su motocicleta cuando intentó evadir un bache en una Avenida de Chicago y perdió el control. Fue llevado grave al hospital y estuvo 19 días en cuidados intensivos. Cada día que pasó, luchó como un Guerrero. El 23 de Diciembre, Dios tenía mejores planes para él; ganó su última batalla y se le dio la llave de oro a la puerta del cielo.

Nuestro padre fue un hombre de fé y todos los que tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerlo y pasar tiempo con él, supieron que era acomedido, amoroso y chistoso. Tocó muchas vidas, corazones y almas.

Hoy estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar a nuestra mamá con futuros gastos, incluyendo el recibo de su batalla en cuidado intensivo y servicios funebres. Nuestro padre era el único proveedor de nuestra madre y abuela. Deja atrás a su esposa, 2 hijas, un hijo, 10 nietos, una bisnieta que no tuvo la oportunidad de conocer en vida, 3 hermanos y su hermana en Mexico y su amigo por siempre Whiskey, su pastor alemán.
