In Loving Memory of Ruth Melnichuk

Hello friends & family -

On 4/16/2025 we lost Ruth as a result of a tragic car accident as she was heading home from work. This all seems very unreal and leaves us in unexplainable state of confusion as we are still trying to heal & struggling to pick up all the pieces from losing Vlad (Ruth’s brother) in January of 2024.

Ruth had a kind heart and was known to always help others, even if that meant that she had to make a sacrifice. She had an especially soft heart for animals and absolutely loved her doggies, Dino and Lilli, who she rescued. And of course her cat, Lana. She recently purchased a home in Salem, making sure it had a yard for her four-legged friends. With Ruth gone, we will have to sort out what happens next.

We cannot express how much she is already missed by all of us. The pain is unbearable and it hurts to think of what is next but we must move forward. “If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” (Romans 14:8)

We sincerely appreciate all of the outreach with kind, encouraging words and support. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Once a funeral service is arranged, we will provide an update.
