In loving memory of Ryan Lee

December 30, 2019 seemed like just another day. But for Ryan Lee, it was anything but. It was the day he received a diagnosis that he had T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL).

T-PLL is an extremely rare and aggressive form of leukemia, and despite fighting with every ounce of strength he had, Ryan lost the battle on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, exactly 6 months to the day from his diagnosis.

Since his diagnosis, Ryan underwent 6 rounds of treatment. Chemotherapy sessions, drug treatments, medical procedures, countless doctor visits, ambulance rides and more stays in the ICU than any one individual should have to endure. He beat so many odds fighting this rare disease, especially during a global pandemic, and he did it with grace and dignity.

To all who knew him, Ryan embodied greatness. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Addison. A newlywed husband to his wife of just 3 short months, Katie. Ryan was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to so many who will miss the joy he brought to everyone's lives.

In Ryan's eyes, every day is a gift, and we sincerely hope that this will be his legacy left behind and shared by all.

Ryan's family is so grateful for the incredible amount of love and support received throughout this difficult time. So many have asked how they are able to help , and our hope is to raise funds to help with the growing amount of medical bills and other expenses as needed. As many know, Ryan's wife Katie has been furloughed for several months due to COVID, so we want to help her get back on her feet as best as possible as she navigates these challenging times.

Please feel free to share a photo or a memory of Ryan on the comment wall below.
