In Loving Memory of Ryan Stewart: Support for Funeral
Donation protected
Friends and Family,
With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of Ryan Stewart’s passing on January 25, 2025, just six months (almost to the day) after his battle began. Ryan was only 34 years old, an incredibly loved son, a devoted father to his 5-year-old daughter Ava Marie, a beloved brother to Roy, and a cherished friend to many.
Last summer, Ryan suffered a catastrophic asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest and an anoxic brain injury. Since then, he endured unimaginable challenges, facing repeated complications from infections and hospital neglect. Despite his incredible strength and the unwavering love of his family, Ryan’s fight came to an end today, surrounded by his loved ones in his final moments.
Ryan leaves behind his precious daughter, Ava Marie, who adored her daddy. She now faces a world without him, and our hearts are broken for her. We ask that you join us in our commitment to preserving Ryan’s memory for all those who loved him.
Many of you donated at the start of this journey, and those funds allowed Christine to be by his side as much as possible, balancing her work life with the overwhelming responsibilities of his care. Now, Ryan’s mother, Christine, is faced with the unimaginable task of laying her son to rest—a burden no parent should ever have to bear.
We are reaching out to ask for your help in this difficult time. Donations will go toward covering Ryan’s funeral expenses, a burial plot at Resurrection Cemetery (where many other beloved family members rest), and a headstone that will honor his memory and provide comfort to Christine, Ava, Big Roy, brother Roy, and all who loved him.
We know Ryan will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help give Ryan the farewell he deserves. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you share this campaign and keep his loved ones in your thoughts.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this heartbreaking time.
This fundraiser is for Christine Harvey, the beneficiary is Gregory Harvey, the brother of Christine who assisted with funds for the service.
