In Loving Memory of Sadie Jane Otway
We stand beside Luke and Cassie as a family in this time of grief. Our family is heartbroken by the sudden loss of our Sadie, our beautiful daughter, granddaughter, and niece. Our happy, smart, cheeky girl.
At just two years, Sadie had each and every one of us wrapped around her little fingers. She was the heart and centre of our family from the moment she arrived.
Sadie had a history of febrile convulsions and we were always told, they aren’t harmful, they don’t cause death etc. What doctors didn’t say was that a seizure could happen in her sleep, result in vomiting and then death. There isn’t enough information, research, support or medication around this and we want people to be able to stand up for their kids when seizures happen. They ARE NOT normal and they ARE NOT nothing to worry about.
Sadie loved to look at the moon at night, and Luke and Cassie ask that we look at the moon and think of Sadie as it smiles down on us. She loved looking for planets and saying good night to them all, even though she couldn’t really see you.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support towards Luke and Cassie whilst they navigate this unimaginable grief.
We Love you Sadie.
