In Loving Memory of Sam Platt - Help for Meghan and the Kids
Donation protected
On Christmas Day 2024, our beloved Sam Platt tragically took his own life, leaving behind his partner Meghan and their three beautiful children: Alaina (10), Kayden (8), and Riley (3). Sam was the rock of their family, the loving father and sole breadwinner who worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones. His sudden loss has left a hole that no words can fill, and Meghan is now facing the overwhelming task of not only coping with this heart-wrenching grief but also trying to navigate a future without Sam’s support.
Sam deserves a proper farewell, and Meghan is doing everything she can to give him the send-off he truly deserves. However, with the added financial strain of raising three young children and the loss of the primary income, lets come together and help to cover funeral expenses, as well as provide some financial support as she adjusts to a new reality.
Along with supporting Meghan and her children, we also want to raise awareness for men's mental health. Too often, men struggle in silence with suicidal thoughts, and we want to emphasize that help is available. If you or someone you know is experiencing these feelings, please reach out to a mental health professional or a support service. There are resources and people who care and want to help.
Any contribution—no matter how big or small—will go directly to helping Meghan and her children during this devastating time. Your support will not only help with the immediate financial burden but will also provide them with a sense of comfort knowing they’re not alone in this.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity. Your donation will make a world of difference for Meghan, Alaina, Kayden, and Riley as they grieve and begin to rebuild their lives without Sam.
Please share this page with others who may wish to help. Every bit of support is deeply appreciated.
