In loving memory of Saoirse Lee
In Loving Memory
Saoirse Lee Wheeler
11/10/1975 - 7/15/2021
On July 15, 2021, we tragically lost our beloved Saoirse due to unforeseen surgery complications.
Her family, friends and co-workers are still reeling from the shock of this devastating news. She was only 45 years old.
If anyone reading this had the privilege of knowing Saoirse personally, you knew what an extraordinary person she was. Her creativity, talent and drive were unmatched. Her kindness, compassion and loyalty, unparalleled. She was always learning and growing mentally, physically and spiritually. She put in the work so many of us tend to avoid. Saoirse was committed to becoming the best version of herself and it showed in everything she did.
She was a passionate person with a heart of gold. When Saoirse loved, she loved BIG. If something had her name associated with it, you knew it was going to be fabulous.
Saoirse’s dream of owning her own business (Bespoke Lash & Beauty) came to fruition in February 2020, right before the pandemic hit. After only a couple weeks of being open, Saoirse had to temporarily close down shop while the world stayed home. During this unexpected time, Saoirse was able to homeschool her 10-year-old son Ollie, work on various house projects and even got married to the man of her dreams, Scott Wheeler, on their back porch on May 1, 2020.
She was able to re-open in May 2020 and was continuously booked solid with her loyal and new clients. Saoirse chose the word “Bespoke” because she was passionate about custom tailoring each facial to her individual clients’ needs. She truly had the magic touch and if you take a look at any of her reviews, you can see how phenomenal of an esthetician she really was.
Like many of us, Saoirse has had to to overcome a lot of challenges in her life. But with every circumstance life threw at her, she became stronger, more resilient and even more determined to fight her way through the wilderness.
Prior to becoming an esthetician, she worked as an oncology social worker for many years. This experience helped shape her into an even more empathetic person and a stronger mental health advocate.
Always first to lend a helping hand, Saoirse would donate, post, and re-post important causes, movements, and GoFundMe links on her social media. She was an active participant in society and even donated a portion of her sales during the lockdown to first responders. She led by example.
Saoirse loved her two boys, Slater (21) and Ollie (10), something fierce. They were her greatest loves and highest priority.
To honor Saoirse’s legacy, I can’t think of anything she would want more than to know her sons were taken care of.
Please consider donating below. Any and all funds will go straight to Slater and Ollie for their future educations.
Saoirse has forever left an indelible mark on all of our hearts.
Please leave a memory or message of Saoirse’s impact in your life below.
