In Loving Memory of Sarah Crites

Our dear friend, Sarah Crites, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2024. Sarah was a devoted mother to her two children, Coralie and Liam and lifelong love of her husband, Joseph Snapp. She was warm, compassionate, and beloved by anyone who knew her. Sarah was an amazing friend, colleague, and neighbor and will be missed dearly.

Sarah was living in Maputo, Mozambique with her family where she was serving as a Foreign Service Officer for USAID. Sarah also served as an education officer in Zambia, Ghana, and in Washington, D.C. As a dedicated civil servant for more than 27 years, she also served in and then worked for the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps. Her work undoubtedly improved the lives of the people in all of the countries in which she served, particularly the children and young people that she worked so hard to uplift through education.

As close friends of the family and colleagues, we have set up this fundraiser to solicit your support for the family as they rebuild after this tragedy. We welcome any and all contributions from those who, like us, have been touched by Sarah. Our goal is to provide this fund as support to Joe, Coralie, and Liam as they mourn Sarah's loss as there will be many unexpected costs for them.
