On November 16, 2023, Scott bravely underwent open heart surgery at Mayo Clinic. This was the fifth major surgery of his lifetime, having been born with a heart condition. Despite receiving exceptional medical care, and having his adoring wife Cindy by his side, unforeseen complications arose following the surgery. It is with heavy hearts, that we share the news of Scott's unexpected passing on December 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife, his two children, and close family.
Scott approached this surgery with confidence and remained strong for his family and friends. Having just had his 50th birthday party a couple of weeks prior, Scott’s contagious and ever-present smile had a way of comforting everyone, and no one looked at this as a final celebration.
Scott's journey touched the lives of many. His warmth, humor, and intelligence were a beacon to those around him. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, kindness, and laughs that won't be forgotten. Scott was a devoted and loving, husband, father, son, and brother. He was also an amazing friend to all fortunate enough to have known him. Scott was the person you could always count on, ready to extend a helping hand without hesitation. His absence is deeply felt by his family and friends.
In the wake of this tragic loss, we rally together to support Scott's family. The medical expenses incurred during his surgery and the following three-week treatment at Mayo Clinic, coupled with additional unpaid bills, figure to weigh heavily on them during this challenging time. Your generosity will make a significant impact in alleviating the financial burdens that Scott's family faces. All money raised will go directly to Scott's wife Cindy to cover Scotts unpaid medical expenses and bills. Let's honor his memory by coming together to provide the support and comfort needed during this trying period.
Thank you for your contribution and for keeping Scott's family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness will forever be remembered as a tribute to the remarkable person Scott was and the love he shared with those around him.
