On November 16, 2023, Scott bravely underwent open heart surgery at Mayo Clinic. This was the fifth major surgery of his lifetime, having been born with a heart condition. Despite receiving exceptional medical care, and having his adoring wife Cindy by his side, unforeseen complications arose following the surgery. It is with heavy hearts, that we share the news of Scott's unexpected passing on December 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife, his two children, and close family.

Scott approached this surgery with confidence and remained strong for his family and friends. Having just had his 50th birthday party a couple of weeks prior, Scott’s contagious and ever-present smile had a way of comforting everyone, and no one looked at this as a final celebration.

He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, kindness, and laughs that won't be forgotten. Scott was a devoted and loving, husband, father, son, and brother. His absence is deeply felt by his family and friends.
