In Loving Memory of Shawana McBride

On November 22, 2022, Shawana McBride, our beloved Mother, Sister, Best friend Colleague and relative, passed away due to a sudden and tragic stroke while attending the repass for her firstborn son Dominic Watts Jr (19). Shawana leaves behind her three young children, Saiida (24), Natalia (18) and Gavin (8).

Shawana was a dedicated educator, working for numerous schools within the L.A and Inglewood school district for the last 25 years. She most recently served as a Program Specialist for the Inglewood Unified School District and went above and beyond to ensure that her students and parents received all the help they needed. Shawana was a beautiful shining light and an incredible mother that would do anything for her children.

In Shawana's short time on Earth, she made time to make everyone feel special; she was active within motorcycle sets, Blackhawks and Black Sabbath and left a lasting impression on both groups.

We appreciate everyone's prayers, kind words and loving kindness that have been given during such a difficult time. We humbly ask for your assistance while we prepare to give our girl the homecoming she deserves. Nothing is too big nor too small if you can find it in your heart to help our family during this tragedy. All is appreciated, and we thank you in advance for the abundance of love and support.
