In Loving Memory of Shawn K. Krueger

On April 15, after 3 weeks in the hospital Shawn tragically lost his battle with COVID-19 at just 47 years old. Shawn was a healthy, young and hard working man. He was an incredible uncle to his many nieces and nephews and an amazing stepfather to Lisette. He could not wait to have a child of his own. Shawn met the sweetest women, Merly, when she blessed him with his daughter, Avery, Who quickly became his entire world. Shawn was so excited to introduce Avery and his wife Merly, to all of the traditions that meant so much to him. Family meant everything to Shawn. He looked forward to a long future with Merly and Avery. Sadly, he was taken from us way too soon and no future memories will be made. We have decades of stories to keep his memory alive to Avery. Shawn wanted Avery to grow up in a safe and secure world. Unfortunately, he is no longer here to provide her with that. Avery lost her father at just 6 years old.  We will make sure his wishes are granted and Avery grows up remembering that her daddy loved her and wanted the world for her. Shawn touched so many lives in his 47 years. He was the funniest person in every room he walked into. We want his legacy to carry on and forever be remembered for the lasting impact he had on everyone he left behind.  During these difficult times, the family is requesting any assistance that can be provided. This money will go directly to Avery’s future education.
