In Loving Memory of Shellymaine Ah Foon
Donation protected
On Friday 5th April, Shellymaine Ah Foon sadly passed away following a tragic car accident near Mudgee NSW.
Shellymaine, more commonly referred to as Mena or Papi by close friends and family, was on her way to attend a wedding of a family member in Mudgee, with her partner Troy and two little girls Delia and Hazel. Shellymaine suffered critical injuries from the accident and sadly passed away. Troy was airlifted to Westmead hospital with fractures to both limbs on his left side and requires surgery. Their two little girls, Delia (6) and Hazel (2) were also transported to Westmead hospital, with Delia suffering fractures to both collarbones.
Shellymaine was a woman of faith with a strong devotion to her family and was unapologetically herself. She was daring, she was brave, she spoke with conviction and she was unproblematic. She enjoyed the simple things in life and lived by her own rulebook.
She was the light of Troy and her girl’s lives. Their world has changed forever and the love their Mum gave them will never be replicated ever again.
All funds raised will help during this tragic and challenging time for the little family, while they navigate life without ‘Mummy’. The funds will be used to assist Troy, who was the sole provider of the family, to help relieve any financial pressures as he is also recovering from his own injuries and will be unable to work for some time. The funds will also help with any of the girl’s needs throughout the current circumstances and to help this family try and rebuild their life.
I understand times are tough right now, so any donation, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated by the family. Please share this small and wide, so we can help support this beautiful family as much as we possibly can.
[For full transparency, I have made April-Lee (Shellymaine’s sister in Sydney) the beneficiary, as she is currently caring for their little girls while Troy is in hospital & lost his phone and wallet and currently has limited access to internet. She will also be assisting Troy with funeral arrangements. All funds raised will be transferred directly to Troy and his girls]
Shellymaine was a Mum, a daughter, a sister, an Aunty, a cousin and a truly loyal friend.
We love you Shelly. May you rest in internal peace.
