In Loving Memory of Shirley Mertz

Please help Justin as he makes arrangements for his grandma, Shirley Mertz. All funds raised will be used for her services, as well as helping Justin recoup his losses from being out of work at this time. 

Justin shared the following to his social media:

I’m very sad to say that early this morning on November 11th I had to say Goodbye to my best friend and Grandmother Shirley Mertz. Gramma’s battle with pancreatic cancer and dementia is now at an end and she can rest. Lord knows she’s earned it. She was my best friend, my other parent and guide and I will spend my entire life being so thankful for all she taught me and her constant presence for me and my mom.

Gramma was so well traveled and so dedicated to her friends that I don’t think there’s a corner of the world that won’t be mourning her today. Her laugh, her smart wit and sass along with her heart that I knew so well will be missed. I’m thankful that she’s reunited with my mom and her favorite cousin Jim. They’ve been waiting for you Gramma.

Keep Shirley in your minds and hearts and remember what an incredible woman we were all so lucky to know. Think of her if you watch the OSU football team. She sure loved her Buckeyes.
