In Loving Memory of Stelina Bijou: A Life Taken Too Soon

On January 1st, 2025, our beloved Stelina Bijou tragically lost her life in a car accident at the young age of 22 on her birthday. Just the day before, on December 31st, she joyfully participated in communion service at Beth-Union Haitian SDA Church, where she was an active and beloved church member. It was a night filled with laughter and love, but no one could have known that her life would be cut short the very next morning on her birthday.

Stelina was on her way to work early on January 1st when the car accident took place, unfortunately, she died instantly around 7:00 AM, just 15 minutes from home, on Route 190 South before Exit 17 in Leominster. She never made it to her destination. We were planning a surprise birthday for her the same day. Her untimely passing has left our family and community in shock and mourning. Stelina’s bright, loving spirit and unwavering faith touched the lives of so many. Her loss leaves a void that will never be filled.

As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your help to give Stelina the dignified farewell she deserves. The suddenness of her passing has left us unprepared, and we are now seeking to raise funds for her funeral expenses and to support our family as we cope with this heartbreaking loss.

Stelina was not just a cherished daughter, but a vibrant young woman with a heart full of love for God, her family, and her community. She always put others first and had a deep commitment to serving those around her. Her spirit of generosity and kindness will be forever remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a committed nursing student, with the drive to help and support others.
