In Loving Memory of Stephen Chen

On November 21st 2022, our brother, Stephen Chen passed away very suddenly. On this day, we lost not only an honorable police officer but a son, brother, cousin, colleague, and friend. There are no words that can describe the pain we are feeling.

Stephen was a young, aspiring police officer who was stationed at the 62nd precinct of the NYPD, where he worked tirelessly to serve the community. Stephen knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a police officer. And after serving as Company Sergeant during his time at the Cadet Corps, he graduated in June 2021 and accomplished the first milestone that would lay the foundation for the life he wanted to live. We have no doubt that he would have been successful in achieving all his life’s goals.

This past week has been incredibly painful. Thank you to Stephen’s dear friends and colleagues, who have reached out to check in and offer condolences. Many have also expressed a desire to support our grieving family. Therefore, we are setting up this GoFundMe for anyone who would like to contribute and share their love for Stephen.
