In loving Memory of Sylvia Ann Martinez (Sive)

Hi my name is Tracey Stedman. I am the 3rd eldest child out of my mother’s 4 children. My mothers’s other children include our oldest brother Eric, our sister Jamie and the youngest, our brother James Jr. In a tragic turn of events this past weekend our mother, Sylvia Ann Martinez, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 68.

Sive, our Mom, was a great woman that gave us the best in all her ability. Our mother survived great traumas growing up and in her everyday adult life she often struggled with addictions but despite all of this she loved her children the best she could.Many loved ones talked to her previously without any notice of any health issue or indication of something that was wrong. It definitely was a shock to us all.

The terms and conditions for cause of death have not yet been determined & are still being finalized. As one might know, any death of a loved one is hard & with this being unexpected we did not have the time to prepare financially to give our mother the services she always wanted.

Our mother always said if she was not with us any longer she would want to be cremated and for her ashes be spread along Lady Bird Lake. She wanted us to celebrate her life with family.

We love our mother very much and would like to at the very least be able fulfill her final wishes.

Due to the sudden nature of this all we are asking for your help to cover the cost of cremation and a family get together to say our good byes with a Celebration of Life.
