In Loving Memory of Tanna Gardner

On Saturday, May 13, 2017, Tanna Gardner proudly walked across the stage at Virgina Union University (VUU) to receive her bachelor's degree in accounting. She was an honor student who had hopes of becoming a  certified public accountant (CPA) and opening an accounting firm that will also help mentor young children. While out celebrating her success later that evening with her loved ones, she and her friends became the target of a horrible tragedy. As she began to depart the celebration a group of unidentified suspects followed her and began shooting at her car. This tragedy resulted in Tanna's life being taken, and her friend Sharayne Holland. The third victim is in critical condition at this time.

Tanna was truly an amazing young woman who life was taken too soon. She comes from a family who has taught her love and respect for all. A selfless person that was always there to help others. At this time we are seeking support to help to be able to offer a reward for witnesses who come forward that will lead to an arrest for those responsible for this tragedy.
