It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share with you all the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved, Teklemicael Berhane.
Teklemicael Berhane worked passionately and tirelessly throughout his life for the betterment of himself, his family and the community. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather and much more to so many. Sadly, on May 18th, 2021, his life was unexpectedly cut short as a result of an automobile accident.
Teklemicael Berhane leaves behind a legacy that will long-serve to inspire and empower us to be the best versions of ourselves and to always uplift our community.
Teklemicael was deeply respected and loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He set high standards for himself and dedicated his life to doing for others in one capacity or another. His positive influence and selfless nature will forever be felt throughout the Eritrean Community of Columbus and beyond. Words cannot express the devastation and heartbreak family and friends are experiencing at this time. Although he will truly be missed; he will live forever in our hearts, as we cherish the time and memories we have all been blessed to experience with him.
It is in these times of loss and sadness that people come together to support the ones we care for. This GoFundMe was created in order to help alleviate some of the financial burden during this difficult time. All funds will go directly to the family. Teklemicael is survived by his wife, Alganesh and their six children: Azieb, Segen, Yonas, Terhas, Filmon, and Yodit Habte. Any support you may be able to provide is greatly appreciated.
