In loving memory of the life of Susan Malek

Hi, my name is Angela, I am the daughter of my beloved Mama Susan Malek who passed away suddenly on August 27th at 5:18 am.

I cared for and lived with my mom for 6 years through the continuous battles of diabetes, cancer and heart failure. Luckily I was allowed to be her IHSS care provider since she required full-time care, and while doing so my mom became more of my best friend. I am in disbelief she is gone. Through that time we became closer than ever in our lives.

She was one of the sweetest souls you could meet. My mom was a caretaker herself for many years, working in various facilities to care for those who could not care for themselves.

So much could be said about her and who she was, that words will not do justice during this time.

We are reaching out with a fundraiser to help cover the unexpected funeral costs, to be able to provide a memorial service for my mama, and to help ease the transition while finding an alternate income. As soon as we can set a date for the memorial, we will reach out to all family and friends in advance so anyone who can attend will be able to.

Mama, You will be missed greatly by all of the lives you touched.
