In Loving Memory of Timothy Thao

Timothy Thao just completed his B.S. in Business of Administration from San Jose State University in May of 2020. Unexpectedly, in August of 2020, he was diagnosed with brain cancer; grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM), which is a rapid-growing and aggressive malignant tumor in the brain. He fought the toughest battle and underwent 2 surgeries. Timothy also participated in several chemo and radiation therapy. He knew his health was terminal, yet he stood brave and faced every obstacle just so he could spend a few seconds longer with his loved ones. Unfortunately, on July 9th, 2021, Timothy left our world at 0103.

Timothy leaves behind his mother and father, who were Hmong refugees and came to the United States to escape persecution of the Vietnam war. He is also the 5th child out of 11 children, leaving behind his six sisters and four brothers. Moreover, Timothy leaves behind his high school sweetheart who also graduated with him from McNair HS, San Joaquin Delta College, and San Jose State University.

Timothy was a very kind and gentle son, brother, uncle, nephew, significant other, and friend. His gentle presence will be missed by those who loved him. The funeral services for Timothy will be held on July 18th, 2021. All proceeds and donations will go towards his funeral and memorial expenses.
